Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), 1615 Woodward Street, Austin, TX. 78741, is seeking sources that can provide security system maintenance services and new or additional security installations. The existing AAC Physical Access Control System (PACS) is a complex integration of components from various manufacturers. It encompasses an intrusion detection system, a closed circuit television system, and alarm system. Contractor must have at the minimum the following qualifications in order to perform those services: 1) Be an alarm installer licensed by the Texas Commission on Private Security or federal equivalent; 2) Certified by Software House Software as a C*Cure 800/8000 Designer/Integrator (Level 3); 3) Have the ability to provide CAD services to update security plans; 4) Provide the supplies and services within the Austin Texas area; 5) Be registered in Central Contractors Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov/. This synopsis is only to identify sources and no solicitation document exists. Should a solicitation be announced in the future all responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient documentation to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to submit a valid proposal. All responses must be submitted in writing within seven (7) calendar days of publication of this notice. Written responses can also be faxed to 512/326-6028.
