Description

Provide design, labor, tools, materials and equipment to demolish and construct office walls, and install and modify electrical outlets in support of new office furniture installation on the 3rd floor of the SunTrust office building, 11817 Canon Blvd, Newport News, Va. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 236620 (addition, alteration and renovation, commercial and institutional building). The size standard is $28.5 million. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The anticipated award date is 8 Jun 06 with a performance period of 31 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. The entire solicitation will be released solely on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, (paper copies will not be available). All prospective contractors are responsible to visit the EPS frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation, attachments, statement of work, and drawings, will only be available by downloading the documents from the EPS. When issued the solicitation package with the specifications will be available for download. Any changes to solicitation documents or statement of work will render them invalid. Proposals containing any changes will be rejected. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity.
