Description
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to issue a sole source purchase order to General Electric Medical Systems Information Technologies, Inc., 8200 West Tower Avenue, Milwaukee, WI, 53223-3219 for 10 software licenses for the C entricity Pharmacy, Actuate Report Writing Software, Progress Software Environment, and VMWare Software Environment. Current Version of Centricity Pharmacy is Version 8.1. In addition to purchase of the software licenses, a purchase for 10-Day Training p eriod whereby attendees: 1. Will begin to understand and use Centricity Pharmacy system terminology for orientation, further training, or further requirements review purposes; 2. Will understand many of the key principles of the setup of the Centricity Ph armacy system to support both inpatient and ambulatory functionality (Catalogue Hierarchy (Enterprise Drug Database), Preferences at the Facility Level (MTF), Drugs available at the Inventory Location (MTF) level for inventory and order entry purposes, Oth er uses of Inventory Locations, and Principles of inventory Control) 3. Will understand many of the key principles for pharmacy management staff having policy responsibility for setting up the Centricity Pharmacy system; 4. Will understand may of the key principles for other modules of the Centricity Pharmacy system (Inpatient order entry; Ambulatory order entry; Patient movement for inpatients; Stock movement functions; Inventory control; Purchase orders; Controlled substances; Manufacturing module; Repor ts generated from the system by printing them to screen; DUE module; The principles of using Conditional orders; Clinical module; Statistics accumulation for drug use, workload, financial and ambulatory and data retrieval; Physical count module); 5. Will be able to configure a typical Facility (MTF) in the Centricity Pharmacy; and 6. Will be able to demo specific and typical basic Centricity Pharmacy system functions successfully to other DoD personnel. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer by 4:00 p.m. on June 2, 2006. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firms ability to provide t he stated capability. Information can be sent to the Contracting Office at: USAMRAA, Attn: MCMR-AAA-P (Kathy Doyle-Lehman), 820 Chandler Street, Frederick, MD 21702-5014. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; how ever, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract. See Note Number 22.
