- Description
- This is an indefinite quantity facilities support construction contract to provide secure paving services and various maintenance, construction, and alterations for site work at unit prices proposed in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity Work. The exact location will be indicated by the Contracting Officer upon issuance of each task/delivery order. The requirement is for a base year plus 4 options. The Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment to accomplish the requirements of task/delivery orders issued by the Contracting Officer. The work will be performed at various locations on both the Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base, and the Naval Support Activity, New Orleans, LA. The estimated cost range for this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS is 237310; the size standard is $31,000,000.00. The requirement will be Unrestricted Open Market where Large Business? are required to submit subcontracting plans; Small Business? are exempt from this requirement. The method of procurement will be Unrestricted Request for Proposal resulting in the award of an Indefinite Quantity contract. Award will be made for Best Value to the Government. Offerors should not assume that they would be contacted or afforded an opportunity to qualify, discuss, or revise their proposals. This solicitation will be issued electronically at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective offerors should register at this website. The official plan holders list will be maintained and can be printed from the website. Amendments will be posted on the website for downloading. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments issued to the solicitation as this will be the only method of distribution. The anticipated issue date for the solicitation is on or about 05 June 2006. The site visit/pre-proposal conference has been tentatively scheduled for 31 May 2006 at 9:00 CST AM in Building 2 at the Naval Support Activity, New Orleans, LA. The due date for Proposals is by no later than 3PM CST on July 6th, 2006. CONTRACTORS ARRIVING OTHER THAN THE TIME AND DATE SCHEDULED FOR THE SITE VISIT WILL NOT BE AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO TOUR THE SITE.
