- ***Clarifications*** 1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUPPLY AND COST OF ALL HANDOUT MATERIALS AT EACH TRAINING SESSION. 2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH THE STATES TO UTILIZE THEIR RENT FREE FACILITIES INCLUDING EQUIPMENT, IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE CONTRACTORS SHALL INCLUDE RENTAL COST IN THEIR COST PROPOSAL BREAKDOWNS. 3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANNOUNCING THE SESSIONS, ACCEPTING AND CONFIRMING REGISTRATIONS. 4. THE TRAVEL COST SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL PROJECT COST. 5. THE RANGE FOR PARTICIPANTS VARIES BETWEEN EACH STATE, THE RANGE IS BETWEEN 25 TO 100 PARTICIPANTS. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement to develop and deploy a 1 ? day seminar throughout the United States. The FHWA is seeking responsible offerors who can provide the services outlined in the Solicitation. This requirement will be awarded on an unrestricted basis. All interested parties should submit their offer in accordance with the attached solicitation. The solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, shall be released and available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) under FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov . Choose the ?FedBizOpps for Vendors? option followed by selection of the DOT/FHWA section. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE OR EMAIL REQUESTS will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email. Since this solicitation is only available electronically, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer. The award resulting from this solicitation shall be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and represents the best value to the Government. Offers are due June 1, 2006, 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the threshold is $100,000.
