Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting quotes under Solicitation No. VA-786-06-RP-0078 for the following services: Contractor (Certified Arborist or Tree Surgeon) shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to prune (crown cleaning, crown thinning, crown raising) trees, remove trees, and establish sod at New Bern National Cemetery, 1711 National Avenue, New Bern, NC 28560 in accordance with the specifications, drawing, terms and conditions of the contract. The NAICS Code is 561730. Size standard is $6.5 million. In accordance with FAR Part 19.1007, this is a full and open competitive acquisition. All responsible contractors are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Requests for a hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. No telephone requests will be accepted. Requests should be addressed to Cheryl Harding, Contract Specialist. Requests for hard copy must be accompanied by a cashier's check or money order in the amount of $25.00 (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference the solicitation number on remittance. Hard copy solicitations will be available on or about May 26, 2006, via the ordinary mail. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about May 26, 2006. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., June 9, 2006. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
