Description

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, 820 Chandler Street, Fort Detrick, MD intends to award a purchase order for a Wireless Service Provider company to provide service to support approximately 40 cell phones and three blackberry devic es. All companies that can meet the specifications are encouraged to provide lead-time requirements, product brochures, company capabilities, or any other information that the Government should consider.The following is the technical description of the re quirement: 1. Consolidate existing accounts, which consist of ten into one account. 2. Incorporate each phone/blackberry into a single shared minute plan each with 400 minutes, which should include long distance after 1900 hours each day. 3. Establish an online bill review account that can be used to validate all calls. 4. Maintain 800/888 and international services. 5. Maintain existing blackberry accounts and incorporate into shared minutes, all have voice and data email. The contractor shall provide a single point of contact and appropriate backup for administration of this contract. The Contractor shall ensure that the pool of minutes is sufficient that no roaming or overage charges will be assessed. This requirement is for cell phone airtime and will not be used for the purchase of equipment. The NAICS code is 517212. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration website (http://www.ccr.gov.
