Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Office of Tribal Services (OTS), Human Services Division, is initiating a special effort to implement trust reform efforts on behalf of supervised Individual Indian Money (IIM) account holders. This effort includes training, consultation, and revision of regulation and manual issuances on social services IIM supervised accounts. Because of the need to initiate certain aspects of the initiative immediately, the BIA is accepting proposals from outside organizations skilled in handling, processing, and reviewing social services IIM trust activities as well as the development and presentation of training. The work will be under supervision of the Human Services Division, Office of Tribal Services, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and will involve travel and coordination with BIA field staff as well as a personnel from other Federal agencies including the Office of Trust Funds Management (OTFM) and select tribal locations.
