CEDAR COUNTY, IOWA The work of this contract consits of providing all the materials,labor, tools and equipment necessary to complete the specified work at the Staples House within Herbert Hoover National Historic Site, West Branch, Iowa. Work includes, but is not limited to: Replacing existing foundations, removal and replacement of sidewalks and concrete steps, addition of a handicapped access ramp, regrading after below-grade work is complete, installing a new foundation drainage system, installing temporary shoring of existing house structure, replacement of storm windows, removal and replacement of cedar shingle roof, remodel of existing bathroom to meet ADA requirements, removal and replacement of doors to allow ADA access, replacement of east porch, replacement of floor framing, regrading landscape to establish drainage swales, replace roofing at low slope roofs, removal and replacement of concrete window wells, and replacement of wood window sill at basement window. Magnitude of project: $300,000.00 to $400,000.00.
