- Description
- The intent of the project is to install a separate storm sewer at the Charles Chamberlain Federal Building, 315 West Allegan, Lansing, Michigan. Separate storm sewer from sanitary sewer and connect separated storm sewer to new municipal storm sewer in the street. Window wells and area ways will be re-piped to new sump basins and water will be pimped into the existing overhead storm sewer. All work shall be coordinated and comply with the City of Lansing?s plan of separate storm water drain system. Interior work includes, but is not limited to: saw cutting existing concrete floors, mechanical piping, re-piping new installation, and associated electrical work, if applicable, excavation backfill, and replacing existing terrazzo flooring. Completion time is 120 calendar days from notice to proceed. Work is normally to be performed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The estimated price is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. This procurement is unrestricted and open to all business concerns in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS is 238220 with size standard of $13 million. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on past performance and price. The solicitation will be available o/a June 6, 2006 (the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation). The solicitation will be available for download through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website (fedteds.gov). All interested vendors must register with FedTeDS and registration requires that the following information be provided: (1) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN), (2) DUNS Number or CAGE Code, (3) Telephone Number, and (4) E-Mail Address. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FedBizOpps and FedTeDS for amendments and/or additional information. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for June 20, 2006 (the actual date and site-visit details will be stated in the solicitation). Proposals will be submitted to a procurement office in Chicago, IL (specific submission instructions will be stated in the solicitation). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
