Phoenix, AZ. 85006 Description: Tree Thinning Services The contractor shall provide any and all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, services, permits, licenses, and certificates necessary to perform hand tree thinning, slash treatment and piling on the Bradshaw Ranger District of the Prescott National Forest. There are 232.4 acres to be treated and a contract time of 184 calendar days, with the anticipated start date of August 1, 2006 and anticipated contract completion date of January 31, 2007. The contractor must be registered with the Department of Labor under the Migrant and Seasonal Workers Protection Act. To go to the Spruce Mountain Thinning project site, from downtown Prescott at the Courthouse, go east on Gurley St., .5 miles. Turn south on Mt. Vernon. Mt. Vernon will turn into Senator Highway, go approximately 5 miles to the community of Groom Creek. Thinning units will be located on the east side of Senator Highway and the east side of Groom Creek. Refer to the map for specific locations. Unit boundaries are flagged with pink flagging that have "Timber Harvest Unit Boundary" in black written on it. The solicitation will be available on or about June 7, 2006 with quotations due May 23, 2006. NAICS Code is 115310. The project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
