- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Great Lakes Region has a requirement to install two new Radio Air/Ground Communication (RCAG) Towers at the General Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Work includes but is not limited to: 1.Excavate and cast 2 new concrete foundation pads according to the plans and specifications. 2.Supply and install 2 self supporting towers. 3.Install 12 x ??" heliax cables from each tower to the RCAG building. Termination inside the shelter will be by FAA personnel at the appropriate time. 4.Install a new counterpoise according to the plans and specifications and attach to the new towers. New grounding will be required around each tower foundation. 5.Remove all antennas and store on site for re-use. Dismantle and remove from site, all 4 old towers and foundations. 6.Examine and update, if required, the building counterpoise to meet the plans and specifications. NAICS Code is 238120. THIS ACQUISITION IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The work will be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and contract provisions under the subject contract. Award of a firm-fixed-price contract is being contemplated to a responsible offeror who submits the responsive offer for this requirement.
