Description

Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-3, and utilizing FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures the U.S. Army RDECOM - Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army  Soldi er System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis with Agilent Technologies, 2850 Centerville Road, Wilmington, Delaware 19808-1610. This effort is to provide the Government with Binary Pumps and accessori es. This instrumentation is required for the testing and evaluation of active ingredients such as capsaicin sugars, glycerol, and vitamins in stored rations. The Binary Pumps will be replacing a current system which runs on Chemstation software and networked s ystems, compatible only with Agilent Technologies. On-going studies started with Agilent Technologies need to continue with the same system brand so data is not compromised. Therefore the contract will be awarded to Agilent Technologies.
