Description

The Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition and Procurement Offices, on behalf of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole source award to Motorola. Specifically, PFPA has the need for Motorola to upgrade Digital Interface Units and XTS-5000 handheld portable radios with AES encryption. This announcement is published as a Sole Source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, the Government will consider all information received by 3:00 p.m. EST June 08, 2006. The anticipated award date is June 13, 2006.
