Description
SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSCG82-06- Q- 3WC366, is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-09. This combined solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 441229, with the size standard $6.5M. The purpose of this solicitation is to purchase a new rough-terrain digger derrick truck and pole-carrying trailer. This equipment will be used for CG operations in conducting a primary mission, establishing and maintaining federal aids-to-navigation. DELIVERY TIME IS MANDATORY. Both derrick truck and pole- carrying trailer are to be delivered FOB Destination no more than 90 days from receipt of order. DELIVERY ADDRESS ? REQUIREMENTS: Item 001: DIGGER DERRICK ? assembly and delivery of one (1) new hydraulic derrick w/ 18? auger head; minimum 10,000 ft-lb torque; boom elevation range 80 degrees above horizontal to 20 degrees below horizontal; boom w/ maximum sheave height greater than 40 ft, maximum horizontal reach greater than 35 ft, maximum digging radius greater than 25 ft; hydraulic outriggers w/ safety interlock system; installed on new zinc alloy coated steel frame and steel chassis; all-terrain wheels and tires; minimum 240 hp diesel engine; automatic transmission; air brakes; air-conditioned cab; AM/FM radio; reinforced frame tow package; outfitted with optional items front installed 15,000 lb capacity hydraulic drum winch, mounted work lights.
