Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number DJMS-06-JPT-Q-0004 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. This procurement is unrestricted under full and open competition. The USMS anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order. The anticipated award date is on or about 25 May 06. The requirement consists of the following Electrical items utilized on a USMS Saab 2000 aircraft: CLIN 0001, Generator - AC, P/N 31200-004 (or alternate P/N 31200-006), Qty 1 EA; CLIN 0002, Unit, Generator Control, P/N 51200-003, Qty 1 EA. Each item must have appropriate Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification tags. Condition of items may be new, remanufactured, repaired, or ?as removed.? Drawings or specifications are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Delivery of all items is desired on or before 12 Jun 06. F.O.B.: Destination. Inspection/Acceptance: Destination. Deliver to U.S. Marshals Service, in care of Aeromech, Hangar 579, Hangar Rd, Ramey, Puerto Rico 00604. Earlier deliveries are desired. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items; FAR 52. 212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, with FAR 52.225-7, Waiver of Buy American Act for Civil Aircraft and Related Articles, included by Addendum; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items. The following additional clauses cited in FAR 52.212-5 are applicable to this specific acquisition: FAR 52.222-3, Convict Labor, FAR 52.222-19, Child Labor-Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies, FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities, FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity, FAR 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans, FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities, FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans, FAR 52.225-13, Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases, FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer ?
