- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. This requisition #F2S3C56125A100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-03. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business; NAICS: 484220. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 1600hrs CST on 9 Jun 06. Quotes can be faxed, or e-mailed to the points of contacts listed on this notice. CLIN 0001- Relocation Bldg 1092 I.A.W Statement of Work listed below. Approximate distance to be moved is 2 miles. I.A.W FAR Ref 52.237-1 Site Visit, in no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Site visit will be held at LRAFB on 5 Jun 06 @ 10:00 am. Site visit will cover building location and surroundings and travel route. STATEMENT OF WORK FOR RELOCATE B1092 TO MUNITIONS AREA GENERAL REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY OF WORK PROJECT SCOPE: Contractor shall provide labor, materials and equipment necessary to relocate building 1092 from the location south of the building 1090 (base clinic) to west of building 1706. This project will be accomplished on a weekend (due to less congestion on base), with a date & time mutually agreed upon by the Contracting Officer, the contractor and the 314 Civil Engineer Squadron. PRINCIPAL FEATURES: Principal features of the work consist of but are not limited to the following: 1. Move triplex building to new location. Building 1092 will be prepared for moving by 314th CES to allow the contractor to readily jack up the bldg for transport. This work will consist of, but not limited to, disconnecting electrical power, sewer, water and removing skirting and downspouts. Contractor will place building 1092 on a framework that will safely allow for transport. Contractor will transport building using haul route approved by the Contracting Officer. Contractor will set dry piers at building?s new location and set bldg in place. PROJECT AREA LIMITATIONS: Work shall be performed in the area of building 1090 (base clinic) along the haul route (see map) and in the area of building 1706 (Munitions). PROTECTION OF EXISTING FACILITIES: The Contractor shall conduct and schedule his work in a manner to cause as little disruption as possible to the surrounding facilities and operations, to include but not limited to, maintaining sufficient clearance for transporting bldg from current location next to bldg 1090 (base hospital). The contractor will also ensure to maintain clearance from any overhead obstacles, such as trees and power lines. SITE VISITATION: The Contractor is responsible to visit the project site prior to, and during, the movement of bldg 1092 to verify existing conditions, actual sizes, and other requirements outlined in this statement of work BASE REGULATIONS: The Contractor shall conform to all base regulations and directives pertaining to security, safety, debris removal, fire, traffic and personnel clearances, insofar as they pertain to the Contractor's activities on Little Rock Air Force Base. Contractor shall ensure conformance by all of his employees. BUILDING 1092 SPECS: Building 1092 is a 36?X56? single story pre-manufactured metal structure with exterior metal siding and skirting. The interior is finished throughout with carpeting in all nine offices and hallway, along with suspended ceiling. There are both male and female bathrooms.
