The DSC is currently being developed and qualified by Hamilton-Sunds trand/Sikorsky under contract DAAB07-97-9-E315 and is anticipated to enter the production phase in December 2007. The Army is planning a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for procurement of 2,400 DSCs and a 5-year repair contract . The DSC is a dual channel single box replacement for two (2) unique Stabilator Amplifiers currently installed in the UH-60A/L Blackhawk helicopter. It has a built-in test feature that reduces erroneous failure diagnosis and has a mean-time-between-failur e of 10,000 hours. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the above source or a statement from the above source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the U.S. Army with this unit. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that this item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the U.S. Army. Electronic copies via email are acceptable. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The deadline for response is 09 Jun 2006. EMAIL ADDRESS: dylan.chung@us.army.mil
