Description

Subject to final approval, the Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire on a sole-source basis through Corporate Executive Board, 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Suite 6000, Washington, DC 20006, a one-year membership to the Working Council for CIO?s for the Assistance Commissioner in the Office of Information Technology, Bureau of the Public Debt, who requires immediate access to targeted research and best practices within, as well as outside, of government. To the best of our knowledge, the Working Council for CIO?s research program within the Corporate Executive Board is the only organization with a ?member-guided? research agenda that allows members to glean best practices in IT management and strategy from a comprehensive and cross-functional perspective. Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Services are being solicited and awarded as a commercial item in accordance with FAR 13.5. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. Written responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the requirement at terms more advantageous to the Government. Public Debt will consider all written responses received no later than 2:00 p.m. EDT, June 7, 2006. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole-source award to Corporate Executive Board. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
