MARKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE ? SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE GSA ? NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION TRADE CENTER MANAGER RONALD REAGAN BUILDING AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE CENTER The General Services Administration (GSA) is conducting market research in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. [NOTE: This is a Sources Sought notice only, and not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. The Government will not pay for any materials furnished in response to this Sources Sought Notice.] The International Trade Center, housed in the Ronald Reagan Building, was created to facilitate and support a Federal Trade Program to enhance the exchange of American goods and services in the international marketplace. The program is intended to bring together the resources of the U.S. Government, in partnership with state and local entities, regional organizations, trade associations, world trade centers, representatives of foreign governments, and the private sector to assist American companies to compete successfully in the international marketplace. The program includes assistance to American companies in the global marketplace and provides facilities that promote all business sectors, with special attention to small and medium-sized businesses. Housed under one roof, the program forms the nucleus of a national and international network that helps American companies expand their presence overseas. The program will provide market and regulatory information and services, both on-site and using electronic networks from remote locations. GSA announces an opportunity to contract for the comprehensive management of the private sector component of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. The Trade Center Manager (TCM) will be responsible for a unique and diverse collection of functional areas that must be managed by a single entity to effectively deliver this legislatively-mandated program. The TCM responsibilities encompass property management (office, retail and food court), CFM-type services, parking garage management, event production management, leasing services (office and retail), marketing and promotional services, lease administration, legal support services, security and security coordination services, concierge services, event and support services, business center services, fitness center management, event setup/tear down services, inventory stewardship and records management services, financial and auditing services, computer and network maintenance services, and pay phone and PBX contract administration and management services. The TCM must effectively integrate the delivery of all these services with the legislative goals being paramount for the ITC to effectively provide for its mandate.
