Description
NSN 4320-01-183-1928, Valve, servo. Eaton Aerospace (62983) p/n 570651. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN with various end items. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4320. See note 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 9 June 06 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning of one item. This AMSC code means that parts procured under this NSN are candidates for full and open competition. The Government physically does not have in possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than the current sources. This is applicable only to parts under immediate buy requirements and only for as long thereafter as the deficiency is under review for resolution and appropriate recoding. This code is only assigned at the conclusion of limited screening, and it remains assigned until the full screening process resolves physical data questions and resulte in assignment of a different AMSC. If one source is available, AMCs 3, 4, or 5 are valid. If at least two sources exist, AMC 1 or 2 are valid. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years)shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement with other than full and open competition.
