Description

SCOPE OF WORK The USDA Forest Service, Wrangell Ranger District is requesting quotes for Marine Transportation and Lodging to support field crews with their work in the vicinity of Meneffe Inlet and Isle Point. Project requires towing several Government vessels and anchoring in a variety of locations along South Etolin Island during the night. This mission also involves the collection of an anticipated 2000 lbs. of general debris from the National Forest and hauling it back to town for proper disposal. Vessel and Pilot shall carry current State and Federal Certifications relevant to marine operations. Scope of work to include housing for a crew of six to ten people, providing two meals a day, (breakfast and dinner) and shuttling crews from the charter vessel to the beach and return; in variety of locations. Lunches may be sack lunches. Please provide quotes for charter to include groceries and a separate quote if the Forest Service is to provide groceries. In either case, the Charter will prepare the meals. Duration of voyage may vary contingent on weather and work progress. PLEASE NOTE: This Charter will begin and end in Wrangell.
