Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Station Port O?Conner, 2307b W. Maple Street, Calhoun County, Texas. Project work consists of demolishing and removing an existing 600 square foot masonry structure housing the ATON shop. Construction of a new 1300 square foot, two story rigid framed steel structure with masonry walls with knock-out panels to 10 ? height and metal siding to eave height to include non-load bearing masonry and metal stud/gypsum board partitions, new cold rolled steel floor joist and light weight concrete deck, new concrete stairs, new suspended acoustical ceiling system, new vinyl composition and tile flooring, new painted surfaces, new toilet fixtures and associated utilities, new personnel and coiling overhead doors, aluminum windows, new power, lighting, and communication services. In addition, furnish and install one 11?-6? x 24?x 8?prefabricated, precast concrete structure with three compartments to be used as a hazmat building. Furnish and install two 500 gallon concrete above ground storage tanks to be used for used oil and bilge water. Estimated price range is $250,000.00 - $500,000.00. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $28.5 million. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. SOLICITATION IN ITS ENTIRETY WILL BE AVAILABLE ON LINE AT: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All amendments and pertinent information will be available at this website. Register for the solicitation package in order to receive any changes posted electronically. No phone requests shall be accepted. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible, but shall not be received by the Contracting Officer later than 15 calendar days after posting of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts and telephone numbers and, provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. All amendments and pertinent information will be available at this website.
