Alarm, Signal & Security Detection Equipment Set Asides: N/A NAICS Code: 334517 Contracting Office Address: 20th Contracting Squadron Attn: Anne Baker 305 Blue Jay Street Shaw AFB, SC 29152 Description: The 20th Contracting Squadron is seeking potential sources to provide Z-Backscatter Vans (ZBV) or equal, on-site training, service agreement and on-site preventative maintenance capability for equipment to be used by Headquarter United States Central Command Air Forces is Southwest Asia (SWA) Theater of operations. Equipment must be able to scan while in motion. The equipment will be mobile and used to inspect other vehicles and shipping containers for possible contraband, unauthorized personnel, or explosives. The process of inspection involves the use of mobile X-ray inspection methods. The equipment must consists of a chassis, X-ray system, computer software and hardware, and associated electronic and safety systems. The source sought will be responsible for acquiring and providing preventative maintenance and repair, to include the necessary spare parts and consumables, and training for all the components of the equipment. The source sought will be a proven supplier of professional logistics services related to X-ray equipment and wheeled vehicles and have experience working in a hostile environment with limited or no infrastructure support. The requiring agency is not in a position to provide technical details regarding the van or its inspection system. This is all or none procurement. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ). This Market Survey is not to be construed as a commitment by the US Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this Market Survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey.
