Description
This is a notice of intent to negotiate with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111 on an other than full and open competitive basis for V-22 Parts Obsolescence Trade Studies. The Naval Air Systems Command plans to issue a Task Order under a Basic Ordering Agreement for V-22 Obsolescence Trade Studies. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Bell-Boeing Team is the designer, developer and sole producer of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft and is the only known source that possesses the engineering data, technical skills and requisite knowledge of the design, fabrication, performance, operation, maintenance and support charateristics of the V-22 tiltrotor aircraft.
