- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL (NSWC PC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Carleton Technologies Inc of Tampa, FL for spare and repair parts for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) MK 16 MOD 1 Underwater Breathing Apparatus (UBA). These components fall within the scope of certification for the EOD MK16 MOD 1 UBA. Substitution of material and components are not authorized without the express permission of NAVSEA 00C4 and requires an approved departure from the specification requirements. Carleton Technologies is the only authorized source for these components. Therefore, this acquisition is unsuitable for full and open competition. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. NAICS Code 332999 applies. SBA Size Standard is 500 employees. FSC is 4220. A request for quotation will be utilized in awarding this action on or about 15 Jun 06.
