Description

The Government intends to negotiate a Commercial Firm Fixed Price Contract to procure interpreter services for the Fleet and Industrial Supply center Norfolk. Services will include interpreting spoken English into signed English or American Sign Language (ASL), and ASL or signed English into spoken English. The Period of performance of the resulting contract will be from 01 August 2006 through 31 July 2007 with provisions for four (4) one (1) year option periods. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The FSC Code is R608 and the NAICS is 541930. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http:www2.eps.gov, as this office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on or about 15 June 2006. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor or the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended of debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may be grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. NOTE 1 APPLIES.
