- SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of Air Traffic Control (ATC), Ground Electronics Maintenance (GEM), and Meteorology (MET) Forecasting and Observation support services for U.S. Government aviation support facilities worldwide. The predominant portion of these services will be performed in Antarctica; however, services may be expanded to various other U.S. Government aviation facilities worldwide. Services include ATC Facility Operations, Control Tower Operations, Radar Operations, Electronics Maintenance Operations, Meteorology Systems Maintenance, ATC/GEM training support, and MET Facility Operations and Training Support. The Government anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Performance-Based type contract. This procurement will be conducted under full and open competition on an unrestricted basis. The estimated release date for the formal RFP is on or about 09 February 2006. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. No paper distribution of these documents will be provided. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488111 and the size standard is $6.5 million.
