Description

Project Title?Conger and Misery Pre-Sale Services for the Newport Ranger District, Colville National Forest. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for certified business concerns located in a Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone). NAICS code is 115310, size standard is $6.5 million. The Colville National Forest requires pre-sale services consisting of, but not limited to, posting proposed cutting unit boundaries, and performing cruises to determine tree volumes and tree quality, and tree marking on the Conger and Misery Timber Sale areas. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a Base Year and Two Option Year periods. Work will be assigned by the placement of Task Orders issued against the basic contract. The physical work period will be identified in individual Task Order. This project will be advertised as a written proposal. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about May 23, 2006. Proposals will be due on or about June 21, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
