Description

The work of this proposed procurement consists of rehabilitating a historic log cabin located in the Lake McDonald historic district in Glacier National Park, Montana. Project includes constructing a new foundation, log replacement, replacing stairs, repointing chimney, modifying drainage, and upgrading/repairing/replacing windows, plumbing, heating, wiring, and flooring. Estimated price range for this work is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Government intends to issue a notice to proceed in September 2006 and the contractor will have 180 calendar days to complete the project. Request for Proposals will be posted electronically at www.FedBizOpps. gov on or about June 9, 2006. ONLY HARD COPY PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Electronic and/or faxed offers are NOT AUTHORIZED.
