Description
The United States Government is seeking to lease office and related space consisting of approximately 7,398 square feet of rentable space in the west Akron area of Ohio. The space requirement can be satisfied with space in an existing building or through new construction with close proximity to public transportation if possible. Rentable space must yield a minimum of 6,433 to a maximum of 7,076 BOMA usable square feet, available for use by the Government for personnel, furnishings and equipment. Parking is needed for 30 vehicles. The proposed lease is for 13 years, 10 years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than late spring of 2008. Offered properties must be within the following boundaries: East: From Sourek, south on Revere, east on Smith, south on Sand Run, east on Market St., south on Hawkins, south on I76 to I277. South: I277 west to the city limit of Akron. West: Akron city limit with Norton, Copley Township and Fairlawn, excepting a small section of White Pond Dr within Copley Township. North: Sourek Rd. After an on-site survey by a Government representative, the area of consideration may be revised depending on a review of the overall mission of the Government agency to be housed in the space. The offered space should be fully serviced and conform to meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility Standards. Proposals from brokers or agents must be accompanied by evidence of their authorization to represent the ownership. Expressions of interest should include building name and address, or if new construction, the site location.
