Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lower Granite Natural Resource Management Section, Clarkston, WA intends to acquire several plants for the habitat management units along the Lower Snake River. Delivery of trees and shrubs shall be by 20 September 2006. This solicitation will be 100% small business set-aside. A firm fixed priced commercial item contract is contemplated. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE 09 June 2006 BY 10:00 a.m. local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as comme rcial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. NAICS 111421 with a SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD OF $750,000. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with addi tional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the synopsis; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.
