- The U.S. Department of State Office of Acquisition Management intends to issue a Sole Source purchase order to Conflict Securities Advisory Group, Washington, D.C. for a conference on Risk Reduction Strategy and Corporate Behavior Modification: Proliferation-Related Risk and the Business Community. The goal of this conference is to promote strategies that seek to encourage companies to become active participants in the global community by adopting heightened standards of due diligence and self policing practices in the ongoing effort to counter the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing and sent by e-mail to BraceyKM@state.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Responses to this notice must be submitted within five (5) days after this electronic posting. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
