- REQUEST FOR QUOTATION - T2CSS Crypto Equipment General Information Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: FA8771-06-R-0008 Classification Code: 70 General Purpose Information Technology Equipment Description SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. The federal government is looking for pricing for the following product(s): A quantity of 42 of Type 2 Cryptographic Support Server (T2CSS Personal Computer Interface Board) product hardware ?Or Equal? and Documentation/Software to include maintenance for one year or more. This proposed procurement has been set aside 100 percent for Small Businesses. The T2CSS is manufactured by 3S Group, Incorporated. Product must have been approved by the National Security Agency (NSA). To date the T2CSS is the only known product of this type to have received NSA certification. All quotations are to be submitted no later than 13 June 2006 by 1200 Noon Central Time by Email to marylou.cannon@gunter.af.mil Each quote must include the following information: 1. Can the requested items be delivered in 30 days or less? 2. Method of shipment to be used must be FOB Destination. 3. Warranty terms: 1 Year or More and Period of Performance must begin on the date of receipt by the ?ship to? address located at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex Alabama 36114. 4. If ?Or Equal? product, is it USA-made? 5. Name of manufacturer? 6. Pricing information. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following referenced provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-09, effective 19 Apr 2006. The proposed procurement will be conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334119 is based on the size standard of 1000 employees. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference.
