- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be issued through ASFI/FedBizOps as will any amendments thereto. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) identified as W52H09-06-T-0401 and const itutes a 5 year firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract for the Hydraulic Systems Test and Repair Unit (HSTRU) trailer mounted truck sliding, load deck (commercial bed slide). The minimum guaranteed quantity is 6 each and a maximum quantity of 700 each (including the 6) over the life of the 5 year contract. Production Delivery schedule is at pages 5&6 of the Contract Terms and Conditions (Attachment 004). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-2006, effective 30 September 2005. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Co mmercial Items (Jan 2006); FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Mar 2005); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (Feb 2006) along with additiona l FAR clauses cited under paragraph (b) 14, 15, 16, 26, 28, and 31. The following terms of the solicitation and proposal requirements are posted on TACOM Rock Island's solicitation Information page, URL: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm along with the price evaluation spreadsheet (Attachment 003); Bed Slid e Description for Purchase (Attachment 005)and Reference Drawing (Attachment 006); Instructions to Offerors - Commercial (Attachment 001 ); FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items (Attachment 002); and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Com mercial Items (Attachment 004 ). Since this is a combined synopsis/solicitation and any further amendments are being issued and posted on the solicitation information page, it is incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may be render your proposal non responsive and result in rejection of your proposal.
