Description

The proposed contract action is for the purchase of 13 EACH D-Vapor (Desflurane) Fixed Mount to Narkomed GS, Drager P/N 4118971 to include installation, testing and calibration, which the MEDCOM Europe Regional Contracting Office intends to solicit a nd negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Supplies will be delivered to delivery to the U.S. Hospital in 66849 Landstuhl, Germany. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 May 2006. This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (C CR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration with the CCR may be accomplished using their web page www.ccr.gov or by calling (888) 227-2423. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT B E ACCEPTED.
