Description
Solicitation for the possible standardization of Orthopedic Soft Goods (Knee) products for TRICARE Northwest Region. Those companies interested in a possible Regional Incentive Agreement (discounted DAPA pricing based on volume) with TRICARE Northwe st Region must respond to the following questions: Clinical Criteria: Knee supports/sleeves: 1. Easy application and removal 2. Latex-free 3. Various sizes available 4. Air Permeable 5. Available in open or closed patella varieties 6. Product does not bunch in popliteal area 7. Product allows wicking of moisture away from knee 8. Washable 9. Seamless Knee Bands/Straps: 1. Available in single or double strap 2. Available in various sizes 3. Lightweight 4. Latex-free 5. Easy application and removal Immobilizers: 1. Latex-free 2. Easy application and removal 3. Method available to position immobilizer in place to prevent migration 4. Washable 5. Product has features to provide comfort to wearer 6. Product provides immobilization and compression 7. Adjustable 8. Various circumference sizes to fit small to large legs 9. Contoured for a good fit 10. Available in various lengths Knee Braces (support) 1. Adjustable 2. Minimum of Level II rating (protection and support features) 3. Hinged models available 4. Unloader braces available Orthopedic Soft Goods (Knee) Company Criteria: 1. Are you a manufacturer or distributor of orthopedic soft goods? Provide evidence that you manufacture/distribute a full line of orthopedic soft goods (knee) products. 2. Is your product line manufactured using approved industry standards? 3. Does your company have a distribution agreement with Cardinal Healthcare? 4. Does your company currently possess, or is in the process of obtaining, a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA)? 5. Does your company have the ability to service to the entire TRICARE Northwest Region (WA and Alaska)? Please provide your companys distribution network. 6. Does your company provide educational programs and clinical support? Describe material available and type of clinical support (brochures, video tapes, interactive access to web or other). Will product in-service and education be available upon request after product implementation throughout the length of a possible agreement? 7. Describe your companys return goods policy. 8. Describe your companys proposed implementation plan if you were to enter into an agreement with TRICARE Northwest Region. 9. Does your company provide volume discounts? 10. Provide a history of back orders and/or recalls for this product group with dates, duration, cause, and how information was communicated to the customer, interim measures and final resolution. 11. Does your company have a 1-800 # for customer questions? 12.
