Description

The National Park Service at the Statue of Liberty National Monument is issuing a solicitation (Request for Quotations) for Cordless Self-Compacting Trash Containers. Work/Items covered under the solicitation will include the rental and service of eight (8) Cordless Self-Compacting Trash Containers (Brand name or equal Seahorse Power Company, BigBelly) for two (2) months, with the unilateral option of the Government to extend the rental and service of the eight (8) Cordless Self-Compacting Trash Containers for a period of ten (10) additional months. The final line item is the unilateral option for the Government to purchase the eight (8) Cordless Self-Compacting Trash Containers at the end of the twelve (12) month rental period. The Cordless Self-Compacting Trash Containers will be used by the Government at Liberty Island, NY and Ellis Island, NY and NJ. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) and any attachments will be available via electronic commerce only and will be posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about June 5, 2006. Interested vendors are responsible for periodically checking the website for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ The NAICS 2002 code for this project is 333319 with a size standard of five hundred (500) employees. This solicitation is being issued as a total Small Business Set-Aside.
