- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Advanced Seismic System (ANSS), has a requirement for software and license. ANSS requires that the participating seismic networks have a standard method to report status of their seismic networks. For monitoring of ANSS seismic networks, ANSS has standardized on the program SeisNetWatch which is a public domain program developed by Instrumental Software Technologies, Inc. (ISTI). ISTI provides a commercial grade AutoDRM software package which provides all of the functionality required by the World Data Center and runs under the Solaris operating system. The Government considers this specified requirement as a sole source to Instrumental Software Technologies, Inc. 70 Cereus Way, New Paltz, New York 12561. This is not a request for quote however, should additional sources be identified they will be considered. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required items or its functional equivalent (based upon the criteria specified herein) are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Please mail affirmative response to Gail Walker, USGS, Box 25046 DFC, MS204B, Denver, Co 80225.
