- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a firm fixed price contract modification under contract N00019-05-C-0040 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, San Diego, CA for BQM-74E Aerial Targets in fiscal year 2007 with an option for fiscal year 2008. A quantity of between sixty (60) and one hundred (100) targets will be procured in each year. The contract modification will also include Radar Altimeters, Air Launch Kits, Extended Range Kits, Vertical Stabilizers, AN/DSQ-50A Scoring Kits, Low Radar Cross Section (RCS) Nose Cones, Low RCS Kits with 1 Sq Meter Lens, Low RCS Locator Beacon Relocation Kits, Low RCS Kits with 1 Inch Tape, and Technical and Administrative/Financial Data. Northrop Grumman is the only known source with the access to the proprietary data, software, and experienced personnel to perform the work in the time frame required without excessive duplication of costs to the Government.
