- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Request for Information This Request for Information (RFI) is the initiation of market research under Part 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). The Government does not intend to pay for any information furnished pursuant to this RFI. NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane is requesting MARKET SURVEY information relative to Multi-Sensor Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR), Laser, Stabilized, Gimbaled Systems for airborne, sea and land-based military applications. Sources are requested to provide general system information, per Form 1 of the attachment, along with modeling and simulation information to include input files (or text files) for the following modeling and simulation programs: NVTHERM, IICAM, SSCAM, IINVD, and/or NVLASERD. If input files are not available, please complete the attached specifications sheet for each applicable product. System information will be technically evaluated and used for modeling and simulating system performance with various atmospheres and targets. Also provide budgetary rough-order of magnitude (ROM) unit pricing, schedule availability information, and any product literature that might be useful in evaluating the system. This information will be used to ensure that accurate representations are made regarding specific systems. Systems will be evaluated against the current and future operational requirements of the military and homeland security. Please provide responses to Marlene Siddons by 20 June, 2006. Responses to this RFI that indicate that the information therein is proprietary or represents confidential business information will be received and held in confidence for U.S. Government use only.
