This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Crane Division. Offerors are encouraged to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division Web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm. The Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement for SPG-62 Miscellaneous Parts. These parts will be fabricated by Machine Shops from aluminum and steel alloy utilizing specification control drawings. Description of items is as follows: Electrical Box (Clipper Detector P/N 7253188-50) ? Aluminum fabricated box-containing cover. Weatherproof enclosure housing electronic components. Intended use is for SPG-62 antenna in conjunction with ORDALT 20379. For detailed drawing please see NAVSEA Spec. Control Drawing No. 7253188, Chassis, Electrical, Electronic Equipment. Painting and marking not required. Quantity: Minimum 0; Maximum 130 Electrical Box (P/N 6849841) ? Aluminum fabricated box-containing cover, 4 brackets and hold down clamps. Weatherproof enclosure housing electronic components. Intended use is for the SPG-62 antenna in conjunction with ORDALT 20299. For detailed drawing please see NAVSEA Spec. Control Drawing No. 6849841, Box Interconnection. Painting and marking not required. Quantity: Minimum 0; Maximum 130 Pin (P/N 5537906) Stainless steel ?? diameter pin threaded to .190-2UNC-2A on each end. Intended use is for SPG-62 antenna pinning strut arms to prevent movement. For detailed drawing please see NAVSEA Specification Control Drawing No. 5537906, PIN. Quantity: Minimum 0; Maximum 500 Long Shoulder Bolt (P/N 6850730) Steel Alloy 4130 hardened to Rockwell C 32-43 and tensile strength of 140,000-PSI minimum. Diameter of (.4335?) shoulder length of (5.75?) and thread length of (1?). Intended use is for SPG-62 antenna bolting strut boots to reflector preventing movement. For detailed drawing please see Spec. Control drawing 6850730. Quantity: Minimum 0; Maximum 55 Short Shoulder Bolt (P/N 5537896) Steel alloy 4130 hardened to Rockwell C 32-43 and tensile strength of 140,000-PSI minimum. Diameter of (.4355?) shoulder length of (3.75?) and thread length of (0.96?). Intended use is for the SPG-62 antenna bolting strut boots to reflector preventing movement. For detailed drawings please see NAVSEA Spec. Control Drawing 5537896, Shoulder Screw, Special. Quantity: Minimum 0; Maximum 200 Tapered Shim (P/N 6710132) ? 3.5? diameter aluminum shim tapered from 0.30 to 0.90 across the face. Part shall be hard anodized in accordance with MIL-A-8625, Type III. Intended us is for SPG-62 antenna to adjust angle between strut boots and reflector. For detailed drawing please see NAVSEA Spec. Control Drawing No. 6710132, Tapered Shim, Special. Quantity: Minimum 0; Maximum 400 Stud Shouldered (P/N 5859903) ? Steel Alloy 17-4PH Heat-treated. Diameter of (.625?) shoulder length of (4.97?). Intended use is for the SPG-62 antenna-lifting jack for leveling ring adjustment. For detailed drawing please see NAVORDSYSCOM Spec. Control Drawing 5859903, Stud, Shouldered. Quantity: Minimum 15; Maximum 200 Bracket Mounting (P/N 6849910) ? Aluminum fabricated bracket with 4 each 10-32 mounting studs. Intended use is for the SPG-62 antenna in conjunction with ORDALT 20299. For detailed drawing please see NAVSEA Spec. Control Drawing No. 6849910, Bracket, Mounting, Interconnection Box. Painting and marking not required. Quantity: Minimum 15; Maximum 200 Support, Waveguide (P/N 7253289) ? Aluminum fabrication consisting of 3 individual brackets to make one assembly. Intended use is for SPG-62 antenna to provide multiple positions for waveguide alignment with MK-82 director. Painting and marking not required. For detailed drawing please see NAVSEA Spec. Control Drawing No. 7253289, Support, Waveguide, Short and associated drawing listed therein. Quantity: Minimum 20; Maximum 150 This requirement is anticipated to result in a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for a period of five-years with a minimum order quantity and maximum ordering quantity as specified above. Delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, Indiana 47522, as specified in the RFP. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by NSWC Crane personnel. THIS IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. DRAWINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE WHEN RFP IS ISSUED. Solicitation N00164-06-R-8980 will be issued competitively. The solicitation will be available on or about 26 June 2006 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil.supply/ announce.htm. Estimated solicitation closing date is on or about 10 July 2006. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from the NECO web site by clicking on the ?Submit Bid? does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the Point of Contact (POC) at NSWC Crane.
