- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following on a Sole Source Basis from Applied Wave Research, Inc. 1960 E. Grand Ave., STE 430, El Segundo, CA 90245-5062: Software to model the components used in Transmit/Receive Modules for radars. Applied Wave Research can provide current updates, effective software support and licenses that are not available from other vendors. This Analysis Software is for modeling the RF/Microwave properties of integrated circuits, components and systems, both linear and nonlinear. The requested software is compatible with existing code. Items to be purchased are as follows: One (1) Linear, Harmonic Balance, Electro Magnetic Simulators, Layout-Software Locked, One (1) ?1 year Maintenance-Linear Harmonic Balance, Electro Magnetic Simulators, Layout-Software Locked and One (1) ?1 year Hardware Key-USB. Award is anticipated by 07 June 2006. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The NAICS Code is 541511 and the Federal Supply Code is 7030. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The closing date is 06 June 2006 at 2pm. Responses should reference Request For Quotation No. N00178-06-Q-3034. All responsible sources may submit their quote by email in Microsoft Word format to DLGR_NSWC_XDS13@navy.mil. Applied Wave Research, Inc. is the developer of this proprietary software. Applied Wave Research, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of this software.
