- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC San Diego) intends to award a contract for Monitor Dynamics Access Control Equipment and Vicon Digital Video systems. The sole source requirement is only limited to the materials. The competition among contractors will be a 100% small business set-aside. Contractors will be required to provide documentation that they are approved vendors of the equipment. The existing Monitor Dynamics SAFEnet system is proprietary and will not interface with any other equipment. The existing Vicon video control equipment will only integrate with the required Vicon video equipment. In addition to providing the access control equipment this contract will also require the contractor to install and configure the equipment as well as convert the existing MS Access database to the SQL database in MDI SAFEnet. A site visit is planned. The date will be posted with the solicitation. Questions concerning this sole source contract may be directed to Matthew Fleming at matthew.fleming@navy.mil. This is not a request for proposal. Numbered Note 22 applies.
