Description
Commercial Facility Management Services are required at the Postal Square Building, 2 Massachusetts Avenue, NE, Washington, DC. This acquisition is being issued under the Source Selection procedures as Best Value with Trade Offs. The contractor will provide all the management, administrative, and technical support to accomplish the following services; facility management, operation and maintenance of mechanical/electrical equipment, elevator maintenance, janitorial service/debris recycling and removal, reimbursable services etc. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561210. The initial contract period is for one (1) year and the Government shall have the unilateral option to extend services for four (4) additional consecutive periods of one (1) year each. GSA is issuing this solicitation only electronically on/or about June 16, 2006. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation file. The solicitation contains Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) documents. Before you can receive the SBU documents you must complete and sign a "Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidder/Offerors ("Notice")." The following information must also be submitted and/or provided by the requestor with the completed "Notice": 1) copy of business license; 2) company's Dun & Bradstreet number; 3) valid tax identification number; and 4) valid picture state driver's license (of person picking up SBU documents). A copy of the "Notice" is attached. No e-mail copies will be accepted, (however fascimiles can be submitted). Authorization to receive the SBU information will be granted upon verification of submitted information. Please read the "Notice" carefully regarding requirements for receipt, storage and disposal of the SBU information. There will be no bidders list for this acquisition. The Request for Proposal due date is on/or about July 21, 2006. Services under the anticipated awarded contract are scheduled to start December 1, 2006. No bonding is required for the acquisition.
