Description
This is a modification to the synopsis entitled APPLIED METEOROLOGY UNIT SUPPORT CONTRACT, Solicitation Number: NNK06143094R which was posted on February 15, 2006. You are notified that the following changes are made: The release date of the RFP will be June 14, 2006 with an offer due date of July 14, 2006. A draft Performance Work Statement is attached. This modification also announces the following: A site visit and preproposal conference will be held at the John F. Kennedy Space Center commencing at 9:00 a.m., on June 20, 2006. Details on where to meet will be provided at time of registration. Individuals participating in the conference should clear through the Pass and Identification Building, Gate 3 on State Road 405, located one-half mile east of U.S. 1, not later than 8:00 a.m. on the day of the conference. The purpose of this conference is to provide prospective offerors an opportunity to obtain clarification on any aspect of this solicitation, and to participate in an inspection of the facilities which will be utilized under the terms of the proposed contract. Each offeror planning to participate in the conference should submit to Tammy Burlein (see below for contact information), a list of names and titles of the proposed participants and their alternatives including phone numbers, no later than five (5) working days prior to the conference. Please limit attendance to three (3) persons per offeror. Questions to be addressed at this conference regarding this solicitation should be submitted in writing to reach Tammy Burlein no later than two (2) working days prior to the conference. Questions will be answered, if possible, at the conference. A reiteration of the questions asked, and the answer given, will be provided to all prospective offerors as an amendment to the solicitation shortly following the conference. To the extent of any inconsistency or variance between the oral and written answer, the written answer shall take precedence. In no event will a failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after award of the contract. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
