NSN: 6150-01-308-8448PR, P/N: 7156M48G01. The W8 cable is color-coded violet no extending branches and has two connecting points. Mat: 8 stranded electrical wire coated. Dim: Main cable length app 3 ft to 6 ft. Function: To supply electrical power to accessory components, electrical governing functions or feedback signals. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-9013, FOB-Origin. Inspection/Acceptance-Source. Delivery: Qty 25EA (Min 12, Max 32) on or before 30 Mar 2007. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 16 Jun 2006. The anticipated award date will be 7 Aug 2006. Only approved sources may apply. The following source has been approved for this acquisition: BAE Systems Controls Inc. (Cage Code: 63760), Fort Wayne, IN 46802-4605. Approved sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Government new/unused are acceptable: P/N and manufacturing verification required; Prior government ownership; 100% end item inspect; Testing will be conducted in accordance with technical order 25-F110-13-10; Location of inspection testing-Tinker AFB; Initial acceptability items-A qty of 1 items will be tested for initial acceptance. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
