Description

The National Park Service, Harpers Ferry Center, is soliciting proposals for the preparation of a treatment and production proposal and the subsequent production of a 20 to 22-minute, high definition, surround sound video program for Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center, Shiloh National Military Park, Corinth, Mississippi. In order to qualify for consideration, you must have experience with reenactments during the Civil War or Revolutionary War period. The Solicitation will be divided into two phases. In Phase I, the Government anticipates award of up to three contracts. Each selected contractor will be awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for $2,500 for the preparation of a treatment and production proposal. Only the selected contractors will proceed and compete under Phase II for the further production of the video program. Funds are not presently available for award of Phase II. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.232-18 entitled, "Availability of Funds", the Government's obligation under this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds. No legal liability on the part of the Government may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for award of this solicitation. Should funds become available for award of this solicitation, the Government anticipates award of one Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The Solicitation will be available via Electronic Commerce on or about June 16, 2006. No paper copies of the Solicitation will be issued. THIS SOLICITATION IS TOTALLY SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS UNDER NAICS CODE 512110, ENTITLED "MOTION PICTURE AND VIDEO PRODUCTION," WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $27 MILLION AVERAGE ANNUAL RECEIPTS FOR AN OFFEROR'S PRECEEDING THREE FISCAL YEARS.
