Description
THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR OPERATIONAL TELEVISION CAMERA CONTROL SYSTEM. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFP and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions, release site visit documentation, add a clause for evaluation of options, and modify the proposal due date and delivery timeframe. This amendment also requests that all proposals be submitted in U.S. dollars and reminds offerors that FAR Part 25 procedures will be used in evaluating end products that are foreign end products. The questions and answers are attached to this amendment. The site visit briefing charts are also attached. The site visit was conducted Friday, May 19, 2006 as scheduled. The following companies attended: Quickset International (Rodney Harris, Bobby Jones and Konstantinos Muhtaris), Telemetrics, Inc (Eduardo LoPresti) and Western Video, Inc (Jerry Parish). The following companies submitted a notice of intent: Cyradis Technology Group, Inc, Telemetrics, THOR SYSTEMS and Western Video. The following FAR clause is added to the combined synopsis/solicitation: FAR 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options (July 1990). The due date for receipt of offers is extended to Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 4:00 Eastern Time. Questions must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern time on June 9, 2006. The delivery timeframe is extended from a maximum of 120 days to a maximum of 180 days after award of contract. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on May 8, 2006. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
