- Description
- The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN with various end items. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4720. See Note(s): 1,9, and 26. The requirement will result in an award of and Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for four (4) years. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 19 June 2006 at http:/dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for one 1G drawing item. This signifies that the Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN are candidates for full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on a FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as descibed in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as an 100% small business set-aside with full and open competition after exclusion of sources.
